ZocDoc Inc.

Senior Product Analyst

2022 – Present

In my current role at ZocDoc, I focus on improving the development of the AB testing framework. This has been a critical step in facilitating better product decision-making and enhancing the user experience for patients and providers. Through collaboration with the Senior Engineering Manager and cross-functional teams, we have successfully developed analytics front-end events tracking for at least three product features and optimizations in a two-week sprint. This has allowed us to gather valuable data and insights to guide business strategy for product management. Furthermore, my support in AB test decision-making and design has been instrumental in providing comprehensive power analyses, test durations, and analytic reports. Using advanced SQL queries, I have guided the Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering teams to ingest new raw data and clean summary back-end tables. As a result, we’ve enhanced the data architecture to make data tables easily digestible for our data consumers. These efforts have significantly improved our ability to make informed decisions and optimize product performance to ensure an exceptional patient and provider user experience.

Squarespace Inc.

Product Insights Analyst

2021 – 2022

Through a combination of key insights and recommendations, Squarespace's content-creation product offerings have experienced tremendous success in achieving their business strategy. By collaborating closely with the Lead Product Manager and cross-functional teams, we developed analytics tagging for more than 8 foundational product features and optimizations within a span of just 2 months. These features included Native Reviews and Video Monetization, which played a crucial role in promoting content creator success on the Squarespace platform. I’ve also assisted in Squarespace’s data migration, by writing ETLs to port large data sets that facilitated ongoing product and stakeholder monitorization of OKR goals, success metrics, and KPIs. By leveraging tools and skills such as Chartio, Bigquery, DBT, LookML, Connected Sheets, and Github, I developed Looker dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Additionally, my deep-dive analyses on Squarespace content creator behavior, utilizing SQL, Bigquery connected sheets, Pandas, Matplotlib, and NumPy packages, have contributed to the improved business growth strategy. These insights informed the Senior User Experience Research Manager, Director of Product, and other cross-functional teams to make product decisions and drive continued optimization and innovation. Overall, our efforts have resulted in new table-stake features and optimizations that have significantly enhanced Squarespace's content-creation product offerings such as Squarespace’s courses product.

Macy’s Inc.

Digital Product Analyst

2020 – 2021

During my time as a Product Analyst at Macy's Inc., I had the opportunity to make contributions to the improvement of app data quality and the overall success of the Digital Product teams. I focused on improving app data quality and successfully implemented over 40 recommendations. This dedication resulted in me being honored with the Macy's Spot Award. Moreover, these improvements helped establish trust within the Digital Product teams through mobile data accuracy and reliability. As a Product Analyst, I carried out individual tasks and guided a team of 10 analysts to broaden their knowledge of app debugging and front-end event tracking. I prioritized boosting the team's knowledge of mobile app debugging with tools like Charles and Adobe Griffon and emphasized mobile analytics best practices. Additionally, I provided guidance on Macy's mobile products, ensuring that our team was well-informed and equipped to contribute effectively. Through leveraging my analytical skills, I led multiple exploratory analyses and AB experiments, which I shared the results with stakeholders such as Digital Analytics, Sr. Product Manager, and the VP of Site Analytics. These analyses and experiments identified areas of opportunity and emphasized crucial areas of focus to increase the mobile order conversion rate by an impressive 7%.

Equinox Fitness

Data Analytics & Business Reporting

2011–2020

At Equinox Fitness, I wore several hats over a nine-year period. I started my analytics career in 2018, with a focus on product analytics and business reporting. My role involved providing valuable insights to key stakeholders within the company to support the success of our pilot Program 360. I had the opportunity to work closely with the Chief Technology Officer, the SVP of Digital Products, the Director of Product Management, and the Director of Business Systems, by using data to drive decision-making and optimize user engagement. To further enhance the understanding of consumer behavior, I created custom reports for the Equinox Hotels & Hospitality Division. Leveraging dynamic SQL scripts, I extracted appropriate Omniture data to generate insights and highlight consumer preferences and behaviors. These reports helped the hotel division make data-driven decisions to improve its offerings and cater to customer preferences effectively.

Additionally, I played a notable role in increasing the accessibility and ease of accessing ancillary sales, facility usage, and proprietary service data for the Operations Team. By enhancing our reporting system with Web Intelligence-created reports, I was able to streamline the process and decrease custom data requests by 33%. This improvement not only saved time, but also empowered the Sales and Operations Team to make more informed decisions based on real-time data.
Unfortunately, my time at Equinox was cut-short due to the pandemic, but I was brought back on as a contractor to work on a part-time project after being furloughed. I leveraged my data analytics skills and contributed to the success of Equinox+ products derived from suggestions I made during the Program 360 pilot. The result made Equinox a viable digital competitor to Peloton. Through my analyses and recommendations, I influenced key stakeholders' decision-making processes, ensuring that Equinox remains at the forefront of the fitness industry by continuously improving the member experience and optimizing business operations.
